Shop Update: Custom Hotel Furnishings & Cedar Ice Chests
Summer is flying by (as it seems to every year), and our shop work is making the days go by even quicker. We most recently were commissioned to create some custom pieces for a hotel client (one of the things we specialize in and do best!), and we have another fun summer entertaining-worthy project you’ll want to check out. Read on for more.
Hotel Client Requests Custom Pieces to Mimic Decor

Ready for use, and a limited offering available for purchase!
First up are these 3-drawer chests a hotel client requested us to custom build. They are multi-purpose, housing a flat-screen TV as well as clothing and any other items hotel guests need to stow away. They feature our custom JT Unique touch — custom built in our shop, on time and on budget, and matching perfectly the hotel’s current decor.
Each piece features full drawer glide extensions, a knotty pine carcass and rough sawn pine drawer fronts. We added hand-distressing to them. The body and top has a in-house custom match stain. The real log corner also has a complimentary, contrasting stain and hand distressing. And we finished it all off with a glaze.
If you don’t yet know, we often create custom pieces for the hospitality industry, such as these, and specifically we specialize in creating small- to mid-size multiples of most any type of custom furniture type you can imagine to fit the existing decor.
This go-around these pieces are not just exclusive to our hotel client, for a limited time we are offering these custom pieces for $700/piece.

Summer is starting to wind down, but we likely still have plenty of mild days even into the Fall to enjoy outdoor entertaining. We can think of one way to improve the appearance and function of any outdoor entertaining space: with a custom-designed cedar ice chest. These waist height cedar ice chests are a fun decorative addition to grill areas, decks, patios and really any outdoor space. They include a cooler with a drain spout. Simply add ice and your favorite beverages. We are selling these for $350, but this a limited offering as only two of these are available. Get your hands on one before they are gone!
