Shop Update: TV Lift Cabinet & Burial Caskets

JT Unique is known for their handmade craftsmanship, custom cabinetry, and furniture pieces. We have skilled carpenters with the expertise to create beautiful custom pieces. From time to time, we are asked to design and build custom furniture such as built-in shelving, entertainment cabinets, and doors. Creating exquisite pieces for our clients is one of our favorite projects.
One-of-a-Kind Remote-Controlled TV Lift Cabinet
There seems to be a demand for custom pieces of furniture which are able to hide bedroom televisions. We were asked to design and build a beautiful piece for a client, and have decided to build an additional one-of-a-kind piece which is available for sale. The TV lift cabinet is made from reclaimed wood with oak legs and oak trim accents. The cabinet has a two-toned, faux-hutch, rustic feel. Not only is it beautiful, but the TV can be taken out and put away using a remote-controlled electronic lift.
This fun, one-time, custom piece can’t be found anywhere else, and there won’t be any more like it. The hutch dimensions are 64.5 x 20 x 34.5 and would be perfect in any contemporary, rustic, or modernly decorated room. It is available for $4,500.
Custom Poplar Burial Caskets: A Unique Way to Honor Loved Ones
In addition to the custom TV hutch, we have been working hard on designing and building beautifully hand-crafted and customized poplar caskets. These standard burial vault-sized caskets can be customized with practically any theme from John Deere, Iowa Hawkeyes, Iowa Cyclones, log, reclaimed wood, hunting-themed, and more! What an awesome way to honor a loved one’s memory and passions.
We have created three hand-crafted caskets. They are available for sale at our carpentry shop. The hand-crafted caskets currently available are an Iowa Hawkeye-themed piece, a burial casket in an elegant distressed wood finish, and one with a patina antique blue finish. These caskets are available for $3,000. Our pricing is extremely competitively priced. Additionally, our skilled craftsman can help design the perfect final resting place for anyone, with prices depending upon design and theme.
