We’ve added quite a few new pieces of machinery to the shop this past year. This month, we wanted to shine the spotlight on some of our more recent pieces that we’re excited to work with. 3D Printer
3D printing has been around for a few years now but still amazes me with its capabilities. If you haven’t had the chance yet to get familiar with it, 3D printing creates an object based on a computer-generated design. Unlike other construction methods that involve cutting things down to the shape you want, 3D printing builds them layer by layer. This process allows for more complex and delicate designs. The opportunities with it are fairly limitless so if you have a challenging project you haven’t been able to successfully approach yet, this could be the option for you.
We also offer 3-D design so you can see everything laid out before it’s committed to any physical material.
Vinyl cutter
Our vinyl cutter was able to add a custom look to this corn hole board.
Especially great for custom woodworking projects, our new vinyl cutter allows us to cut letters and shapes. Once cut they can easily be stuck to most any surface. It’s a great option if you want to add a detailed design element to your project. Whether it’s a logo or names and dates — think a beautiful decorative wood piece to commemorate a wedding date — vinyl cutting is a great option for adding unique details to your project.
If you’re looking for a way to further customize a gift (like one of our custom cornhole boards), adding a design with the vinyl cutter could offer the perfect touch.
CNC Router
We love how the color of the wood adds to the scenery in this custom carving.
If you’ve heard of this machine already, you know how much potential it offers. It can engrave, carve, and do 3-D woodworking. All around, it’s a great tool for making a wide range of engraved custom projects and now allows us to offer CNC woodworking services. We’re excited to work with some local businesses in creating unique and custom looks for them.
Already, we’ve used this machine to create several of our corn hole boards and we’re excited to see how else we get to put it to use.
